Helping great work
find its audience.
Creating exceptional work is only part of the journey. In the arts, meaningful communication bridges the gap between creators and the people their work is meant to reach. Through strategic storytelling, audience development, and creative production, I help artists, organizations, and cultural initiatives build lasting connections that extend far beyond opening night or release day.

The Make Studios was founded to help independent artists move from idea to audience. By combining strategic communications with creative production, I work alongside artists to develop stronger brands, tell more compelling stories, and build meaningful connections with the audiences they hope to reach. Every project begins with understanding the creative vision and designing a communications strategy that supports it from concept through release.
As Founder and Creative Director of The Make Studios, I partner with independent artists and creative organizations to shape projects from concept to release. My work combines communications strategy, brand development, content production, and creative direction to ensure every project is grounded in a clear story and a defined audience.
Whether producing long-form interviews, developing release strategies, creating visual assets, or documenting the creative process, my role is to help artists communicate with intention. Rather than chasing trends or relying solely on social media, I focus on building authentic connections that support long-term audience growth and sustainable creative careers.

The Opportunity
Independent artists are often expected to be creators, marketers, project managers, and entrepreneurs all at once. While many invest years developing their craft, turning that work into meaningful audience engagement requires a different set of skills. Without a clear strategy, even exceptional projects can struggle to reach the people they're meant for.
Make Studios was created to bridge that gap by helping artists move from idea to audience through thoughtful storytelling, strategic planning, and audience-first communications.

The Opportunity
For independent artists, a music video is often one of the most visible expressions of their brand. The challenge is to create visuals that do more than accompany a song. Every project should reflect the artist's identity, support their creative vision, and contribute to a broader communications strategy that builds recognition and audience engagement
How I helped
Working closely with each artist, I developed creative concepts that translated their music into compelling visual stories. My role included concept development, creative direction, production planning, directing on set, and overseeing the visual narrative from pre-production through final delivery. Throughout the process, I ensured every creative decision supported both the artist's message and the goals of the release.
Selected Work
Impact
These collaborations reinforced my approach to creative direction: every visual decision should serve the story. By combining strategic thinking with cinematic storytelling, I help artists create work that extends beyond the music itself and strengthens the relationship between artist and audience.
