Food, Beverage & Hospitality
Helping food brands tell stories people want to experience.
Food is about more than products. It's about culture, community, and memorable experiences. Whether launching a consumer product, promoting a restaurant, or producing content that celebrates food, effective communications help brands connect with audiences long before the first bite. Through strategic storytelling, creative production, and visual communications, I help food and hospitality brands build recognition, trust, and lasting customer relationships.
Featured Organizations
Rosy's Foods was founded with a simple vision: make authentic Afro-Caribbean cooking more convenient without sacrificing quality or tradition. From the earliest stages of product development through retail expansion, I partnered with the company to shape not only how the product looked, but how it entered the market, connected with consumers, and established a recognizable brand across Canada.
How I helped
I partnered with Rosy's Foods from product development through market expansion, helping shape both the product and the brand that surrounded it. My role extended beyond creative execution to include brand strategy, go-to-market planning, product positioning, packaging design, communications strategy, retail marketing, distributor engagement, and long-term brand stewardship.
Over the course of the partnership, I developed the communication systems that supported the brand's growth, from product packaging and promotional campaigns to social media strategy, retailer marketing, press materials, and messaging that consistently reinforced the company's mission across every customer touchpoint.

Rosy's Foods
The Opportunity
Rosy's Foods set out to introduce a convenient Afro-Caribbean food product to a growing Canadian market without compromising authenticity or quality. Beyond developing the product itself, success depended on creating a brand that consumers would trust, retailers would stock, and distributors would champion. The challenge was to transform a single product into a recognizable consumer brand with a scalable market presence.

Created as an extension of the Rosy's Foods brand, Rosy's Kitchen used educational content to strengthen customer relationships and demonstrate the versatility of Rosy's products through storytelling. Rosy's Kitchen was an original branded culinary series designed to celebrate Afro-Caribbean cuisine through storytelling, education, and entertainment. Rather than relying on traditional advertising, the series positioned the brand as a trusted voice by creating valuable content that invited audiences into the kitchen, celebrated cultural traditions, and inspired confidence in home cooking.
The Opportunity
Consumers increasingly connect with brands that educate and entertain rather than simply promote products. The opportunity was to create a content platform that built long-term relationships with audiences by celebrating food, culture, and community while strengthening the overall Rosy's brand.
How I helped
As Executive Producer and Creative Director, I led the vision and production of the Rosy's Kitchen series from concept to completion. I developed the show's creative format, planned episodes, directed production, and oversaw post-production to ensure every episode reflected the brand's personality and values.
The series balanced practical cooking instruction with cinematic storytelling, transforming recipes into engaging narratives that audiences could learn from, enjoy, and share. Every creative decision, from the pacing of an episode to the visual style and editing, was designed to build trust, reinforce the brand, and keep viewers coming back.

How I helped
I led the creative development and production of a cinematic brand film designed to showcase the café's unique character. From planning the visual narrative to capturing kitchen operations, food preparation, and finished dishes, I created content that highlighted the artistry behind every meal. Through thoughtful pacing, close-up cinematography, and storytelling, the finished work became a marketing asset that reflected the café's personality while supporting its digital communications.

Impact
The project demonstrated how cinematic storytelling can elevate hospitality marketing beyond traditional advertising. By focusing on craftsmanship and experience rather than simply showcasing menu items, the content helped communicate the café's identity in a way that was memorable, authentic, and emotionally engaging.

For San Francisco Café, I developed cinematic brand content that captured more than the food itself. By documenting the craftsmanship, energy, and atmosphere of the kitchen, the project transformed everyday food preparation into a visual story that celebrated the people, process, and passion behind the dining experience.
The Opportunity
Great restaurants sell more than meals. They sell anticipation, craftsmanship, and experience. The challenge was to create visual content that moved beyond traditional food photography to communicate the café's identity through motion, atmosphere, and storytelling, giving audiences a reason to connect with the brand before visiting.
